A week after her birth, Geraldine’s mother, Elaine Page, said she would be the first to say her daughter was born healthy.
But she didn’t expect her daughter to be the last.
“I’m not really sure if it’s possible, but she’s definitely the last to die,” Elaine Page said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Thursday.
“She’s going to have an incredibly long, amazing life, and I’m just really glad that we’re not going to die in vain.”
Elaine Page has been the mother of three children from two previous marriages.
She is the daughter of retired Marine Brigadier General Charles Page, who also is a U.S. Marine Corps general and former ambassador to France.
“My mom was born in 1947,” Elaine said.
“And I think that I’m still the daughter and the granddaughter of two women, who were born in the same year.
They were married in 1944 and 1944, and so I’m not going anywhere.”
